On Wednesday 19th June 2024 Letšeng Diamonds through the Corporate Social Responsibility and Investment (CSRI) Programme donated 11 wonderbags to Pae-la-Itlhatsoa Community Leaders at the ceremony that was held at Pae-la-itlhatsoa. A wonderbag is a non-electric, heat-retention cooker that allows food that has been brought to a boil on a stove fire, to continue cooking forhours after it has been removed from the fuel source. With the scarcity of firewood which is the leading heating system for the communities, wonderbags are seen as a long-term solution.

The project is piloted with the Community Leaders with the intention to roll it out to the rest of the community in 2025 if it yields positive results.
