Letšeng Diamonds conferred scholarships to six Basotho in a ceremony held at Maseru on Friday 27 January 2023. Two scholarships were for new recipients (Neo Mary Metsing – BSc Hons in Geology at the University of Cape Town and Lekunutu Letela -Diploma in Millwright at the Artisan Training Institute). Four scholarships were for continuing recipients (Relebohile Malebo – BHS in Emergency Medical Care, Tšepo Molongoana – BHS in Emergency Medical Care, both studying at the Durban University of Technology, Sebongile Motseki – BEng in Extractive Metallurgy studying at the University of Johannesburg and Lebellang Tšephe – Diploma in Millwright studying at the Artisan Training Institute). Letšeng has spent M16,5 million on the scholarships programme since its inception in 2006.
